2015-16 Playoffs Pocket Edition

GM of the Year nominees

Actually this is an open vote and you don't have to choose only between these few guys i'm gonna list here, but these are the guys who have called most attention during the season and their work deserve to be commented. I'm breaking it down in conferences so it is easier to follow. GMs are in no particular ordered, but just listed.

Western Conference

Luiz Machado (Dallas)
His name is on an award now, making him part of the GHL history. But who would believe the Stars are still a top team only two points behind the league's top? Before the addition of Hossa and Allen this team was no big deal, now they are championship bounded again and are making people frightened.

Flavio Muto (Detroit)
Despite having a bad last week of season and losing the 7h spot to Edmonton, this team made some eyes glare. He had a winning record againt Vancouver and St. Louis. He had a Emilio Merritt, who is the best young player in the league in my eyes. His trades have also helped this team a lot, bringing Aki Tormanen, Oldrich Kusjner, Tim COnnolly, Mikko Koivu and Sergei Sasmsonov has instantly turned this team into contention mode. It won't surprise me so much if this team dethrone Chicago in 6 games. My vote goes to him.

Lucas Codato (Colorado)
The third brazilian in the list, this team has been on the rise for a while, but this year they have stablished themselves in the cream of the crop category, as always he made some big and controversial deals, but it hasn't been a year Mr. Codato isn't involved in big negotiations, and hasn't been a year he doesn't make a 1st round pick move to either side.

Eastern Conference

John Evans (Carolina)
Carolina turned some heads last season with their unexpected trip to the conference finals, now they turn some heads again by winning the eastern 1st berth. Evans has been quiet this season after winning this GMOTY last season and making a lot of deals, this was more of a micromanagement year for the Canes, but his work is unquestionable.

Sean Emack (Philadelphia)
The Emack last name couldn't be forgot in a GMOTY list, Sean has come to save the family after a bellow expectations season by his brother Jeff. Reasoning for this is pretty much the same as Dallas, after losing some key players team was managed to still be a top team, leaving Philly's hopes of a new trip - only to lose again - to the Finals be possible once again.

Vincent Karpick (New Jersey)
They had been quietly hiking up all season long and after not been a playoff team for some weeks they found their game and got the 5th berth, only two points behind of their rivals, the Rags. Most of this is due to the fact of them having several top picks in a row and their young studs development, but the work of this GM can't be forgotten, team is very disciplined tatically, mostly because of this guy's ability to keep the right player in the right line.

HONOURABLE MENTION: Frank Autunnale (Boston)
