The Global Hockey League, or GHL, is an online fantasy ice hockey managment game that uses a freeware software known as Eastside Hockey Manager, or EHM, to simulate the National Hockey League. Up to 30 players can be active at any one time and take part in a series of managment activities from drafting new players, to deciding on your tactical line up, to trading players with other managers.

The GHL runs game day simulations on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. 7 game days are simulated during the regular season.

The GHL is one of the longest running EHM leagues and has a great core of veteran players, as well as players who are new to the game. They come from all around the world and are a friendly bunch of people, though you may have to choose which side of the force you are on....
